GEC student becomes an Eagle Scout

In the midst of a pandemic and maneuvering and mindful of all the protocols, Greene Early College Super Senior Dorien Sutton successfully completed the prestigious process to become an Eagle Scout.  Dorien’s project was the construction of ten raised gardening beds using carbonized wood at the Pre-K Center in Snow Hill. His project also included filling the bed with the proper soil and mulch ready for planting. In addition. he reconfigured the area for optimum learning and participation of pre-K students.  He recently presented his completed project to the local board.    He was then certified  for Eagle Scout Rank by the  board.  Congratulations, Dorien!
