11th Annual Freedom Classic baseball series, sponsored by USAA starts Friday

The Kinston/Lenoir County Parks & Recreation Department is hosting its 11th Annual FREEDOM CLASSIC BASEBALL SERIES and sponsored by USAA starting Friday, March 5th – Sunday, March 7th, at Historic Grainger Stadium in Kinston.

Highlights of the games include: 

∙ U.S. Military Academy (Army) will be taking on Air Force Academy this year

∙ Military Flyovers Before Saturday's Game 

∙ Saturday: F15E Strike Eagles from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base 

∙ Military Appreciation and Pre-Game Ceremonies be will be held 20 minutes prior to  each game. 

∙ Military Displays  

∙ Stadium capacity is limited at 1023 spectators due to covid regulations, tickets will be available for pre-sale March 2-March 4, at Grainger Stadium as the ticket booth will be open from 5pm-7pm.  

∙ MASKS REQUIRED FOR ENTRY INTO STADIUM!

FREE: ACTIVE MILITARY 

$3.00: RETIRED MILITARY, MILITARY DEPENDANTS, VETERANS, SENIORS (over 60) AND STUDENTS  

$5.00: ADULTS (18-above) *General Admission 

$10.00: TOURNAMENT PASS (all three games) general admission seating only – per  person 

FREE: CHILDREN 3 AND UNDER
