The following restaurant inspections were conducted by the Lenoir County Health Department:

Taco Bell

700 E New Bern Road, Kinston

Date: 11/12

Score: 93.5

Observations:

Facility did not have procedures for cleaning vomit/diarrhea.

Some dishes were visibly dirty.

Batteries in thermometer were dead.

Flies in kitchen.

Dishes were stacked wet.

Dry food bins, cart, floors, walls, ceilings, inside and outside of equipment need additional cleaning.

Grease trap lids and dumpster door left open.


The Peach House

Observations:

Employee health policy did not include Salmonella.

Facility did not have procedures for cleaning vomit/diarrhea.

Chicken and dumplings made on Friday were not date marked.

Dishes were stacked wet.

Detail cleaning needed on all equipment, inside and outside of equipment, and shelving.

Hand sinks in kitchen need additional cleaning.

Floors and walls need additional cleaning.
