Dr. Patrick Greene is named Southeast Region's 2022 Principal of the Year

Greene Central High School announced that Dr. Patrick Greene has been recognized and is a finalist for Principal of the year. Dr. Greene has been at Greene Central since 2013. Prior to then, he served as the principal of Greene Early College High School.

“Congratulations to Dr. Patrick Greene on being named the Southeast Region's 2022 Principal of the Year!!!” Greene Central said on their Facebook page. “Dr Greene is among 9 finalists for the 2022 Wells Fargo NC Principal of the Year!”

Dr. Patrick Greene responded to the recognition, also on Facebook. 

“I am incredibly humbled and proud to represent Greene County!” said Greene. “I can’t wait to tell the rest of the state how great we are!! Thank you to my staff, my family and this wonderful community!”

Assistant Principal Uvonda Willis took to social media to respond. 

“So proud of Dr. Patrick Greene and a privilege to serve with you,” said Willis. “This is so well deserved.”
