Bicycle Safety Rodeo to be held at Pearson Park

On November 11, 2021 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Pearson Park in Kinston, up to 50 participants aged five through eight can participate in a Bicycle Safety Rodeo.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn skills that will help them become better bicyclists,” said Anna Kinsey of the Kinston Community Health Center.

There will be bike helmets, pads, and reflectors distributed and two lucky children will have a chance to win a free bike.

“Jessica Turner FNP-C from Kinston Community Health Center, will present a fun informational session that morning, and directly after her presentation, we will have a short bike parade so the children can show off what they have learned,” said Kinsey.
