Kinston police: Juveniles charged in recent vehicle break-ins

In the late evening of November 10, 2021, several vehicles were broken into by individuals who stole items from inside the vehicles. On November 11, 2021, officers and investigators executed a search warrant on a residence in Kinston and recovered a stolen firearm as well as other stolen items from the residence. The recovered stolen items were from the vehicle breaking and entering incidents. Two juveniles were charged with the following:

(3) Counts of Breaking & Entering a Motor Vehicle

(2) Counts of Larceny of a Firearm

(2) Counts of possessing a stolen firearm

(3) Counts of possessing stolen property

This case is still under investigation. Additional charges and arrests may be forthcoming.
