Kinston Police: Man charged with stolen firearm and possession of marijuana
On Tuesday, November 9, 2021 officers with the Kinston Police Department were conducting a follow up on a complaint of possible criminal activity in the area of Viking Dr. Kinston, NC.
Around 5:22 pm, officers made a consensual encounter with Davontae Moore, age 18 of Kinston, NC.
During this encounter, officers located a stolen S&W handgun and a small amount of suspected marijuana.
Mr. Moore was arrested and charged with Possession of a Stolen Firearm and Simple Possession of Marijuana.
Mr. Moore was placed in the Lenoir County Jail under a $5,000.00 secure bond.
