Early and One-Stop Voting for Lenoir, Jones and Greene County

Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020. North Carolina voters can request a ballot by mail or vote in person during early voting and on Election Day. Early voting starts on October 15th in Lenoir, Jones, and Greene counties.

Lenoir County Early Voting Dates and Locations

Voter ID is not required to vote in this election. Some voters who are first-time voters may be required to produce a HAVA document such as a driver’s license, utility bill, government check or paycheck with their current name and address. Protective items such as face masks, gloves and individual issued pens will be provided to each voter along with appropriate social distancing measures. Please be patient with poll workers and other voters.

Greene County Early Voting Dates and Locations

The Greene County Board of Elections will hold One-Stop early Voting at the Greene County Board of Election’s Office located at 110 SE First Street in Snow Hill and the Greene Community Center located at 814 W. Harper Street in Snow Hill. Voters who are unable to leave home to vote they can request an Absentee by Mail Ballot. The deadline to request an Absentee by Mail Ballot is October 27th. Curbside Voting is available at all voting sites.

Individuals not registered to vote in Greene County may register and vote at One-Stop upon showing proof of residence. The registrant would need to show a document that lists the current name and address in the county.

Jones County Early Voting Dates and Locations

The one-stop voting schedule for the 2020 Presidential Election at the Jones County Board of Elections office located at 367 NC HWY 58 S, Unit B, in Trenton, NC. Polls will be open on Election Day, November 3, from 6:30 am until 7:30 pm.

Starting Thursday, October 15th through Saturday, October 31st early voting will be held. Weekdays including October 15-16, 19-23, 26-30 voters can take advantage of early voting from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm. On Saturdays including October 17, 24 voters can arrive between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. On October 31st, the hours are from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
