Kinston Police: Warrant obtained in Carolyn Ann Suggs case
On Tuesday, August 8, 2020 at 8:43 a.m., Kinston Police responded to a wooded area just off the 500 BLK of Beasley St. Kinston, NC in reference to a body found in the woods. Officers arrived on scene and discovered the remains of a female lying in the woods. During the course of this investigation, the female was identified as Carolyn Ann Suggs, age 49 of Kinston, NC.
On Monday, August 24, 2020 Officers with the Kinston Police Department obtained warrants on Tommy Lee Heath, age 58 of Kinston, NC for the Concealment of Death, Obstruction of Justice and Larceny of Motor Vehicle for his involvement in this case. The incident is still an active investigation and anyone that may have been in the area or may have seen Ms. Suggs prior to this event are asked to contact the Kinston Police Department.
