Ocean Bay Seafood coming to Kinston

A new seafood restaurant will be opening at 2405 N Herritage St. in the Kinston Plaza. Ocean Bay Seafood will open its third restaurant.

“Ocean Bay Seafood has two other locations in Jacksonville and Wilmington. We felt like they would be a great fit at the Kinston Plaza and are excited to have them come to Kinston. We are always trying to bring new and exciting businesses to Kinston,” said Gram Spear, Vice President of Perry Management, Inc.

With two other locations, in Jacksonville and Wilmington, Ocean Bay Seafood wanted to bring something special to Kinston.

“We love the demographics of the area and we wanted to bring something special to the city,” said the owner of Ocean Bay Seafood Restaurant.

The Kinston menu will be similar to their Wilmington restaurant featuring po boys, fried seafood dinners, and family broil platters.

Ocean Bay Seafood has been around since late 2019 and is continuing to expand in eastern North Carolina. The new restaurant, which should open in about three months, will employ around 10-15 people.

Ocean Bay Seafood in Wilmington has a 4.7 out of 5 rating on Facebook and a 3.0 out of 5 rating on Yelp. They offer dine-in, takeout and delivery from third party delivery services.
