Sorority donates masks

On May 15, 2020, as an “Outreach Project” of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Delta Rho Zeta Chapter, members of the Annual Health Fair Committee presents 100 masks, made by members, to the NC VA Home, Kinston, NC.

This effort was done through the Lenoir County Community Advisory Committee. Nancy Pridgen, is the Regional Ombudsman for the County. Committee members were: Mallie Stocks, Joan Bannerman, and Amanda Holmes. Chapter President is Tammie Whitfield. Zeta Phi Beta is being neighborly and concerned about their brothers and sisters afar! 150 mask were sent to the Veterans Administration Hospital, Baltimore MD; by Zeta Member Soror Evelyn Smith in addition to the local Veterans Home donation made.

The donated mask will keep the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; Delta Rho Zeta Chapter working their outreach program. A program designed to enhance, cultivate and empower others while promoting healthy lifestyles and lifespan; Z-Hope "Zeta Helping Other People Excel".
