Bethel Christian Academy's updated statement

Bethel Christian Academy continues to work with national, state and local officials regarding the progression and prevention measures of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). Currently, experts are NOT recommending that K-12 schools close, but we are constantly receiving and actively seeking information from experts to guide decision making, holding meetings, and staying in contact with all stakeholders. Therefore, BCA and Daycare will REMAIN OPEN on a day-to-day basis.

BCA has had no reported cases of coronavirus.  Concern about coronavirus is high, but the risk to children seems to be low.  So far, most reported cases of coronavirus have been in adults and kids seem to have much milder infections than adults or other people. However, we are taking all the necessary precautions to help prevent the spread of contagious illness, as we would on a normal basis but with a heightened sense of awareness.  We ask that our parents do the same by keeping your child(ren) home from school or daycare should he/she present with any symptoms of a contagious illness, and we ask that your child be fever-free for at least 24 hours prior to returning.  We hope that with your cooperation we can minimize the risk to our students, our faculty, and to the families of our school.

"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:17-18
