KPD looks for information in robbery Friday morning

The Kinston Police Department is looking for a suspect, who robbed someone on the intersection of Vernon Avenue and Mitchell Street early Friday morning.

KPD reported the robbery happening shortly after 3 a.m., as the offender — who was armed with a knife — approached the victim with the weapon and stole an unspecified amount of money. The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s with short hair.
