40 Days of Lent Journal: Day 10

Day 10

Romans 13:8  Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

I encourage you today to find someone celebrating their birthday and celebrate them. Celebrate them in word conversation and deed.  Love on them, embrace them and encourage them. Go down memory lane with them, listen to their stories, help them count their blessings and rejoice with together. 

Don’t so much get caught up in stuff like gifts, cake and balloons, even those things are always nice. But to celebrate the mere that someone is alive is a blessing. Today, see the blessing of living and loving one another.

 

Dear Father, help us to find joy in celebrating others. Thank you for life, health and strength. Thank you for birthdays. Thank you for the birth of your son and because of Jesus’ birthday we can celebrate others with hope of brighter days. Help our lives be a blessing to someone else today as we love one another.  In Jesus name, Amen!
