RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC Chamber today named Senator Jim Perry and Representative Chris Humphrey as 2019 Jobs Champion in its annual How They Voted report. How They Voted details lawmakers’ voting records on key bills identified as critical to preserving and enhancing a positive climate for business and job creation in North Carolina. Perry and Humphrey were recognized as Jobs Champions for voting with the Chamber’s Jobs Agenda at least 80 percent of the time.

“I am pleased to continue to gain recognition as a common sense lawmaker who wants to help our people find jobs, and help NC business owners create them,” said Perry.

“Thank you to the NC Chamber for naming me a 2019 Jobs Champion!”

“The 2019 legislative session saw a number of successes for North Carolina’s job creators and communities, and we are grateful for their leadership in promoting pro-growth policies,” said Ray Starling, general counsel at the NC Chamber.

“We appreciate that Senator Perry and Representative Humphrey stood up for the ideas that will fuel our state’s competitive business climate and grow our world-class workforce, and we look forward to continuing to work with them in the future.”
