Rep. Chris Humphrey’s Strong Pro-Growth Voting Record Recognized by NC’s Leading Statewide Business Advocate

RALEIGH, N.C. – The North Carolina Chamber named state Rep. Chris Humphrey a ‘Jobs Champion’ in its 2022 How They Voted report. This annual report details state legislators’ voting records on bills identified as critical to preserving and enhancing North Carolina’s position in the global race for jobs. Rep. Humphrey was recognized as a Jobs Champion for voting with the Chamber’s Jobs Agenda at least 80 percent of the time during the 2022 legislative session.

“It is an honor to be named among the top legislators driving economic growth in North Carolina,” said Humphrey, “I’m looking forward to continuing our work with the NC Chamber to make our state the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”

On the annual How They Voted report, NC Chamber President and CEO Gary Salamido offered the following:

"The bills scored in the report were selected based on their alignment with our three pillars for forward-thinking, pro-business advocacy: Education and Talent Supply, a Competitive Business Climate, and Infrastructure and Growth."
