Observations:

No certified food protection manager present;

Volunteers observed eating while plating food;

Foods in refrigeration (unit) were 45F or above - must be 41F or below;

One thermometer was reading 20F in ice water - shall be calibrated to read 32F;

Wallpaper in women’s restroom is peeling away from wall;

Observations:

Employee drinks stored over food prep areas;

Raw shrimp stored above open containers of pineapple and ketchup;

Temperature of foods were above 41F in walk-in refrigerator;

Flies present in kitchen;

Employees observed preparing and handling food while not wearing hair restraints;

Wiping cloths left lying around kitchen and on plate area of buffet - shall be stored in proper strength sanitizer when not in use;

Scoops in flour bins need additional cleaning;

Some sheet pans and plastic produce containers stacked wet;

Back walk-in door is rusty;

Bottom of reach-in refrigerators, bottom of walk-in freezer, shelving and sides/tops of equipment needs additional cleaning;

Oval plates and side dishes had some food residue and some dispensing utensils over three-compartment sink had dish detergent residue from splashing during dishwashing;

Flounder and scallops near grill, coleslaw, and shrimp in prep unit were above 41F - shall be 41F or below;

Consumer advisory is missing required component;

Flies and one roach seen in kitchen;

Shelving inside of reach-ins and sides of equipment need additional cleaning;

Women’s restroom shall have a trashcan with a lid;

Floors and walls need additional cleaning;

Floors have some damaged areas where water is pooling;
