NCDOT: Hurricane damaged pipes in Lenoir County being replaced

A section of a Lenoir County road will be closed for about four days this week while N.C. Department of Transportation contractors replace two pipes under the roadway.

Between 8 a.m. Nov. 4 and 5 p.m. Nov. 7, a section of Patterson Road will be closed. During this time, NCDOT will replace two crossline pipes damaged during Hurricane Florence.

Patterson Road is a loop, so traffic may use U.S. 258 to access either side of it.

Drivers are urged to slow down and use caution when around the construction.

For real-time travel information, visit DriveNC.gov or follow NCDOT on social media.
