Students from Snow Hill Primary placed in 'spotlight' Monday evening

SNOW HILL - More than 20 kindergarteners and first-graders from Snow Hill Primary were honored as Greene County Schools Student Spotlight Award recipients on Monday evening.

Students earned recognition from teachers for their leadership, citizenship, academic success and innovation. Several drew high praise for following SHP's "Ram Code" - Be Responsible. Be Respective. Be Positive. Be Prepared - each day.

Dr. Patrick Miller, superintendent of Greene County Schools, presented each student in attendance with a certificate.

Certificate recipients were Zoie Bryant, Everly Diaz, Caroline Guthrie, Kayla Herndon, Ryelle Jones, Rayan Martinez, Kaliyah Murray, Jenna Nichols, Isabella Ramos Vasquez, Annabelle Shockley, Sophia Snead, Natalie Artman, Javier Bautista-Venancio, Jamiya Dixon, Sally Dyer, Rodniesha Edwards, Della Vidal Fuentes, Lane Kyser, Valeria Mayorido-Figueroa, Walker Wade and Isaac Wilde.
