Brenda Canup named Interim President of Kinston-Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce

As the Kinston-Lenoir County Chamber searches for its new president, an interim has been set.

Chamber Chair Tonya Adams announced Brenda Canup is the interim president, effective Jan. 2, 2019. In a statement on Thursday, Adams said “we are extremely excited to have Brenda with us as Interim President.  She has a vast amount of experience at leading large organizations, and she has always performed with excellence.

“Brenda is a long time resident of Kinston and Lenoir County and knows the people and the needs of our community.  We all know that she will do an excellent job leading our Chamber.”

Canup and Adams have signed a Letter of Agreement for a 60-day period that may be extended if necessary.
