Volunteer attorneys will meet individually with Kinston/Lenoir County residents (priority will be given to low-income senior homeowners) by appointment and prepare these documents for free:

  • WILL: A document that tells family and friends what to do with your property upon your death, avoids family disputes, and names your executor or personal representative to handle your estate.

  • ADVANCE MEDICAL DIRECTIVE: A document that tells doctors and healthcare providers what end of life medical treatment you want to receive and names the person you want to make healthcare decisions for you if you are unable to make decisions for yourself.

Space is limited and you must make an appointment in advance. Please call 1-877-579-7562 to be screened* and reserve your space.
