Publishing Automation Privacy Policy

Neuse News is operated by Magic Mile Media, Inc. This policy explains how the Neuse News Publishing Automation application processes information when publishing Neuse News content to its official social media accounts.

Purpose of the Application

The Neuse News Publishing Automation application is an internal publishing tool. It automatically shares publicly available articles from NeuseNews.com to official Neuse News social media accounts.

The application is not a public-facing service and does not offer readers or website visitors the ability to create accounts or sign in.

Information We Process

The application may process the following limited information:

  • Meta account, Facebook Page, Instagram account, or business identifiers needed to connect authorized Neuse News accounts

  • Permissions and access credentials provided by Meta for authorized publishing

  • Public article information, including headlines, excerpts, article links, featured images, and publication dates

  • Social media post identifiers and basic workflow records needed to confirm that content was published successfully

  • Technical logs used to identify errors and maintain the publishing system

The application does not request or store Facebook passwords.

How We Use Information

Information processed by the application is used only to:

  • Authenticate authorized Neuse News publishing connections

  • Publish Neuse News articles to official social media accounts

  • Add article links or other approved information to published posts

  • Prevent accidental duplicate posts

  • Monitor publishing results and troubleshoot technical errors

  • Maintain the security and reliability of the automation

Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information.

Information may be processed by service providers that support the publishing workflow, including Meta, Squarespace, Zapier, and other authorized technology providers. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or property of Neuse News, Magic Mile Media, Inc., our users, or the public.

Data Retention

We retain access credentials, publishing records, and technical logs only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the publishing automation.

Access credentials may be revoked or replaced when an authorized connection is removed, expires, or is no longer needed.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information processed by the application. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Data Deletion Instructions

To request deletion of information associated with the Neuse News Publishing Automation application, email info@neusenews.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request.

Please include:

  • Your name

  • The name of the relevant Facebook Page, Instagram account, or Meta business account

  • A brief description of the information you want deleted

Do not send your password, access token, authentication code, or other confidential login information.

We will review the request, verify that the requester is authorized when necessary, and delete applicable information within a reasonable period, generally no later than 30 days after verification.

You may also remove the application through your Meta account or business settings by locating the Neuse News Publishing Automation integration and removing its access. Removing the integration may prevent future publishing activity through the application.

Children’s Privacy

The application is an internal publishing tool and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when the publishing system, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when revisions are made.
