Ivey Alan Hines, 75, of Kinston passed away at UNC Lenoir, Friday, October 18, 2024. The funeral will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Howard-Carter Funeral Home.

The Town of Maysville is pleased to announce the signing of a $1.3 million contract with S.T. Wooten, a respected construction company, for the most prominent street resurfacing project in the town’s history since the 1960s. The project will resurface 90% of the town’s streets and include widening select roads, enhancing safety and traffic flow. Work is set to begin on October 22, 2024.
