La Grange-Annette Lancaster Gray, 87, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. A service of love and remembrance will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at White Oak Grove OFWB Church. Committal will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery, La Grange. The family will receive friends following the committal.

The Showcase celebrated NC’s top educators, administrators, and schools featuring performances by State Champions in Fine Arts from across the state.
On Wednesday, Restored Hope Boutique had its grand opening. The boutique, located at 124 N Queen St., is a part of Hope Restorations. The grand opening started with a tour of the House of Hope for Women then the ribbon-cutting ceremony took place at the boutique afterward.
