GEC students named to LCC’s academic lists

Greene Early College students, (left to right) Dorien Sutton and Madia Harris, have been named to Lenoir Community College fall President’s List. To be included in this prestigious list, a student must be enrolled for a minimum of 12 semester hours in upper level classes and achieved a 4.00 GPA.

Governor Cooper Encourages NC Families to File Federal Income Taxes to Access Full Benefits of the Child Tax Credit

With tax season quickly approaching, North Carolina families are encouraged to file their federal income taxes to ensure they access their full, expanded Child Tax Credit, as well as other federal benefits. Many families received about half of their tax credit payments in monthly payments in 2021 but will receive the rest of the money they are owed by filing their federal income taxes this year.

Magic Mile Media and Neuse News announce spring and summer internship opportunities

Neuse News and Magic Mile Media’s popular internship program is back and now there are TWO opportunities to participate. A limited amount of candidates will be accepted.
