Adele Lee Bell Thompson, 97, formally of Kinston passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the home of her granddaughter in Holly Springs. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 with Bishop Jeff Howard officiating at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Carey Road. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Charles “Chuck” Edward Roman, 86, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. A memorial service will be held Friday at 10 am at LaGrange First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Hobgood officiating.
Donald “Donnie” Randy White, 62, of Kinston passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Garner Funeral Home.
Edna Murphy Reynolds of Greenville, NC passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the age of 86. A celebration of Life will be held Sunday, February 28th at 3:00 pm at First Pentecostal Holiness Church 711 Phillips Road in Kinston with B.J. Murphy officiating.
Richard Adrian King, a North Carolina native born in Kinston in January 1942, died January 4, 2021. A service honoring Adrian will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at King Family Cemetery on NC Highway 58 South in Kinston.

Bucklesberry | Just before dawn on Thursday, December 10, the master carpenter welcomed Chester Randolph Hooten home to a house not made with human hands, eternal in the heavens. Faith became reality as he took the hand of his Lord and entered into paradise.
