On August 3, 2024, KPD officers conducted a traffic stop on NC HWY 11 involving Joshua Farmer (37, of Lenoir County) for a vehicle equipment violation. With the help of K9 Nero, officers discovered methamphetamine and various drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Farmer was arrested without incident and placed in the LC Jail under a secured bond.
