This year Greene County hosted 74 Athletes and 22 Young Athletes. The event has been held for over 30 years and each year the success of the athletes are celebrated by a multitude of people.

This year the Expo was a multi-site experience with STEM students from Greene Central, GCMS, and GEC leading stations and sharing their creations. 50 Year Old Dover Man Struck by Vehicle
KPD Officers responded to a report of a pedestrian stuck by a motor on the 1900 block of Towerhill Road. Officers arrived on scene and located the pedestrian, (50 year old male from Dover) and the driver Anthony Belcher (50 of Snow Hill)

Greene County Schools Participates in NC Science Festival
Greene County Schools took part in the North Carolina Science Festival. The Science Festival is a month-long state-wide series of events that are coordinated and promoted by the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center in Chapel Hill. Events were also sponsored by Duke Energy and several other community partners.
