On Friday, March 31, Greene Central High School inducted 53 new members into their chapter of the National Technical Honor Society. The new members had to have the following requirements in order to be inducted: 3.0 GPA, having taken at least 2 CTE courses, and most important teacher recommendation.
Friends and supporters along with the family of Gary E. Black recently provided $25,000 in donations that will permanently endow the Gary E. Black Memorial Impact Award. This initiates an annual award within the Lenoir Hospital Foundation to support the cost of continuing education for one non-clinical staff member of UNC Health Lenoir.
