On October 26, 2024, at approximately 4:40 AM, officers from C-Squad responded to a report of an assault. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a female victim who reported that 36-year-old Jerry Cannon had assaulted her.
On October 26, 2024, at approximately 12:15 PM, officers from A-Squad responded to a report of shots fired on the 300 block of S. McDaniels Street. Upon arrival, officers learned that 53-year-old Charles McPhail had allegedly fired shots at the caller while brandishing a firearm.
Child Found Unattended in Vehicle; Mother Arrested for Neglect and Child Abuse
A man who is suspected of breaking and entering into a vehicle at a home on Will Baker Road was shot by the homeowner and is in serious condition at a Greenville hospital.
