Lenoir County will move from an eight-year real property reappraisal cycle to a four-year cycle after officials said shorter cycles could help reduce sticker shock for property owners.

Lenoir County Government to renovate administration building
Lenoir County Government is renovating the administration building (also known as the tax office) at 101 N. Queen Street. The renovation is set to begin in early June, so the agencies are in the process of relocating departments to temporary offices just down the block.
