In celebration of National Hospital Week, and to thank all of the health care workers for their service throughout the pandemic, Smithfield Foods organized a luncheon Thursday at UNC Lenoir Health Care. “We are here today to honor the health care heroes that have been such a tremendous service throughout this pandemic by showing them our gratitude from Smithfield and our employees which have also been essential, by serving up a little food,” said Steve Evans, the Director of Community Development with Smithfield Foods.
