On 01/24/2023, the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Greene County Sheriff’s Office with apprehending two suspects in a Greene County Fraud case. 52 year old Richard Moore and 45 year old Kimberly Matthews, both of Kinston, were taken into custody in Lenoir County by Deputies after Greene County Investigators received information about their location.
Richard Moore, 75, of Deep Run passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Vidant Medical Center. Visitation will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home, Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Funeral service will be held at Howard-Carter Funeral Home Wednesday, September 25, 2019 with Pastor Rick Mondell officiating with interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
