Greene County commissioners handled a tax appeal, proclamations, board reappointments, a county pay plan and a youth sports grant closeout during their regular meeting Monday.

Greene County commissioners approved the county’s fiscal year 2026-27 budget, adopting a $27.1 million general fund and setting the general fund property tax rate at 78.35 cents per $100 valuation.
