Growing up, how many of you remember hearing someone say, โ€œSticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt meโ€? How untrue is this statement.  Words can heal and bring forgiveness or divide and cause discord. Our words can absolutely hurt others as well as ourselves.

How many of you made sure before you went to bed last night that your cellphone was plugged in? Why do we do this? The answer is usually, โ€œso it has power when I need itโ€. If we donโ€™t plug in our phones, they want be much use to us.  We make it a habit to keep them plugged in at night, throughout the day, and even when we are driving in our cars.

Are you aware that the heart pumps about 1.5 gallons of blood per minute?  That is a total of around 2,000 gallons per day. By pumping blood through the body, it provides oxygen and nutrients to all tissues. So, it is easy to see how important it is to keep your heart healthy and working well.
