As of last week, William Gray is no longer Pink Hill’s Town Attorney. Gray, a lawyer from Deep Run, was appointed by Mayor Yvonne Deatherage in April, and voted on by Commissioners Penny Murphy and James Quinn with Pete Fantini as a dissenting vote.

Following a contentious meeting in October that resulted in Mayor Mike Hill resigning, along with the clerk and the assistant clerk of Pink Hill, a meeting was held on Tuesday night to select a mayor to finish out the term Hill was serving.
