Lenoir County death notices

Lenoir County death notices

Neuse News has long provided an obituary service for families and funeral homes. With the Kinston Free Press moving to a once-a-week print publication, we’ve decided to publish a weekly list of death notices according to Lenoir County. These death notices are a little behind but are an attempt to provide more value to our community.

The following is a list of people who have recently passed away in Lenoir County:

Aug. 5: Charles Glendon Johnson

Aug. 5: Virginia Mae Bellamy

Aug. 5: William Lannie Peyton

Aug. 6: Barbara Eason

Aug. 6: Robert Floyd Kidder

Aug. 6: SheAug. 5: lby Gail King

Aug. 6: Mary Johnson Perry

Aug. 7: Elizabeth Kay Hunt

Aug. 7: Lois Gail Thigpen

Aug. 8: Jerimiah Dixon

Aug. 8: Marvin McDowell Garris Jr.

Aug. 8: Patrick Allen Gordon

Aug. 8: Shirley Jean Sutton

Aug. 9: Edgar Theron Brown

Aug. 9: Ephraim Green

Special Note from the Publisher:

Because our local printed obituaries will be far less frequent, we’ve also decided to do two things:

We're keeping our $75 obituary price intact. We've found this to be less expensive than the traditional print and an affordable option for most families.

We've added an option for publishing 2x for $140 or 3x for $200. This way, more people are possibly able to see the information over a few days.

Last year we had over 832,000 unique website visitors and over 1,049,000 mobile visits. We currently have 4,824 daily email subscribers to our newsletter.

As always, thank you for letting us help you.
