NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF LA GRANGE
APPLICATION FOR 2026 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDING
Notice is hereby given that the La Grange Town Council will hold a public hearing on September 30, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. in the La Grange Town Hall located at 203 S. Center Street, La Grange NC to solicit public input on local community development and needs in relation to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for a project in the community.
The Town of La Grange anticipates submitting a CDBG-I application in 2026. Information on the amount of funding available, the requirements on benefit to low-and-moderate income persons and eligible activities will be available. Citizens will also be given the opportunity to provide oral and written comment on the Town’s use of CDBG funds. All interested citizens are encouraged to attend.
