Judco Manufacturing Inc. Celebrates Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony in Greene County

SNOW HILL - Community leaders, state officials, and regional economic development partners gathered Friday morning to celebrate the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for Judco Manufacturing Inc., marking another significant milestone for industrial growth and investment in Greene County and Eastern North Carolina. Judco Manufacturing, Inc., an automotive supplier, will create 60 new jobs in Greene County. The company will invest more than $5.3 million in moving its headquarters and research and development operations to Snow Hill.
Hosted in partnership with the North Carolina Global TransPark Economic Development Region, the ceremony brought together local and regional stakeholders to recognize Judco Manufacturingโs continued commitment to the region and the expanding opportunities within Eastern North Carolinaโs manufacturing sector.
The event featured remarks from Judco Manufacturing leadership, elected officials, and economic development representatives, all emphasizing the importance of strong partnerships in supporting business growth, workforce development, and long-term regional prosperity.

During the ceremony, Bennie Heath, Chairman of the Greene County Board of Commissioners, presented a commemorative gift on behalf of Greene County in recognition of Judco Manufacturingโs investment and partnership within the community.
Judco Manufacturing Inc. CEO Kurt George thanked community partners and local leadership for their support throughout the companyโs continued growth and investment in Greene County.
The event concluded with closing remarks from Lauren Ellis, Existing Industry Director for Greene and Lenoir County, who emphasized the value of strong partnerships, existing industry support, and the unique ability of Eastern North Carolina to foster companies with both global and local connections.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony highlights the ongoing industrial momentum in Eastern North Carolina, with regional partners working together to support business expansion, workforce readiness, and sustainable economic development.
Project partners include the North Carolina General Assembly, the North Carolina Department of Commerce, the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina, the North Carolina Community College System, Greene County Economic Development Partnership, the Town of Snow Hill, Duke Energy, and North Carolina Southeast.
