Event: The EPIC Center's Walk 4 Life & 5K

The EPIC Center invites the community to participate in the Annual Walk 4 Life & 5K on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Lenoir Community College in Kinston. The event begins at 8:00 AM, rain or shine, and welcomes runners, walkers, families, churches, and community groups of all ages.

Participants can choose between a timed 5K race, an untimed 5K, or a one-mile fun walk, making this a great event for both experienced runners and those who simply want to enjoy a morning of fellowship and activity.

The EPIC Center is a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting pregnant women and children through limited medical care, educational classes, and practical resources that help families thrive. Proceeds from this event help make these services possible for families in our community.

This family-friendly event will also feature Rezzy’s Pancake Truck, fun activities for kids, and a welcoming atmosphere for participants of all ages. Children are encouraged to join the fun!

Register by March 20 to receive a free event T-shirt. Race-day registration will also be available.
