City of Kinston announces special meeting regarding personnel issues

The City Council of the City of Kinston will hold a special meeting on Friday,

January 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, located at 207 E. King Street, Kinston, North Carolina.

The purpose of the meeting is for a closed session to discuss a personnel matter as permitted under North Carolina General Statutes. § 143-318.11(a)(6). Any action required will be taken at this meeting after returning to open session.
