Joint Narcotics Investigation Results in Arrest
A joint effort between the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office and the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest of a 20-year-old Duplin County woman for narcotic related charges.
As a result of a narcotic investigation conducted by the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit into the distribution of narcotics throughout Lenoir County, a warrant was issued on Kaylaan Record, 20, for the sale of narcotics. The Duplin County Sheriff’s Office D.I.C.E. unit was able to locate RECORD at a residence in Duplin County. Once RECORD was taken into custody, narcotics were located on her person, resulting in additional criminal charges. RECORD was placed in the Duplin County Jail under a secured bond.

PWIMSD a Schedule II Controlled Substance
Duplin County Charges:
Felony Possession of a Schedule II
Controlled Substance
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
RECORD was given a total secured bond of $20,000.
