Former CNA Arrested in Kinston Healthcare Fraud Investigation

In November 2024, officers with the Kinston Police Department responded to Signature Healthcare in reference to a reported fraud. A preliminary investigation determined that a certified nursing assistant (CNA), identified as 45-year-old Hildares Parker-Greene, unlawfully obtained debit card information belonging to a patient and used the information to make unauthorized purchases.

Due to the volume of financial records involved and the extensive nature of the investigation, the case was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division.

In 2025 detectives obtained arrest warrants for Parker-Greene on the following charges:

- Identity Theft (9 counts)

- Attempted Obtaining Property by False Pretenses (11 counts)

- Obtaining Property by False Pretenses (9 counts)

- Exploitation of an Elderly or Disabled Adult (1 count)

On January 14, 2026, Parker-Greene was located by detectives and taken into custody without incident.
