Kinston native, Neha Patel, won an Emmy this week for her work on Netflix's Conan O'Brien: The Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor which won for outstanding Variety Special.

Neha already in her short career has worked on many shows and productions some of which include Stand up to Cancer, American Idol, Kids Choice Awards, Little Mermaid Live, the OSCARS, Victoria Secret Fashion Show, Coldplay Live in Ahmedabad along with many others.

Neha graduated from Arendell Parrott Academy in 2006, UNC Chapel Hill in 2009 and NYU Grad School in 2012 with a Masters in Music Business. She lived in New York City while in school and working for VH1. She moved to Los Angeles to work as a freelance producer. She works primarily with Done + Dusted Productions. In her off time she travels the world.

Neha is the daughter of Mike (Minesh) and Dixie (Daksha) Patel who still live in Kinston. Her brother, Neil, who works in real estate and insurance, lives near her in Hollywood.
