KPD Update: Arrest made in shooting investigation
Update:
ARREST MADE IN SHOOTING INVESTIGATION
Kinston Police Department Detectives have obtained warrants for Kendall Forbes, 21, of Lenoir County, in connection with a recent shooting incident. With assistance from the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office, Forbes was taken into custody during a traffic stop.
Forbes is currently being held without bond and faces multiple charges, including:
-Attempted Murder
-Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill
-Discharging a Firearm within an Enclosure to Incite Fear
-Discharging a Weapon into Occupied Property (3 counts)
-Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
-Malicious Assault in Secret
-Going Armed to the Terror of the Public
-Discharging a Firearm Within City Limits
-Misdemeanor Crime of Domestic Violence
