Local Health Science Teacher Leads Students on Educational Journey Through Europe

From July 22 to July 31,2025, a local high school Health Science teacher at Jones Senior High School, Mrs. Suddona Murrell, RN embarked on an unforgettable adventure with eight students and four adults, traveling abroad with EF Tours. The group explored three of Europe’s most iconic destinations—London, England; Paris, France; and Barcelona, Spain.

The journey was more than sightseeing; it was a hands-on cultural and educational experience. In London, the group marveled at historical landmarks such as the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, and Big Ben. Paris offered a blend of art, and history with visits to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and charming sidewalk cafés. The final leg in Barcelona immersed the travelers in vibrant Spanish culture, colorful architecture by Antoni Gaudí, and the lively atmosphere of Las Ramblas.

The Health Science teacher described the trip as “an amazing exploratory experience” that broadened students’ horizons, deepened their appreciation for world cultures, and created memories to last a lifetime. Students returned inspired, with new perspectives, stories to share, and a deeper appreciation for the world beyond their community.
