Lenoir County 4-H’ers Interview Congressman Don Davis on “The Best Better Podcast”
Lenoir County 4-H’ers Lamonie Taylor and Sanaa Thompson, both students at Kinston High School, are raising their voices and inspiring change in a special new episode of The Best Better Podcast, which launched Friday, August 15, 2025.
Joined by Lenoir County 4-H Program Assistant Joel Dixon, Lamonie and Sanaa sat down with North Carolina Congressman Don Davis and discussed the impacts of leadership development, service, and the power youth can have through the 4-H program. From his humble beginnings in Eastern North Carolina to serving in the U.S. Congress, Congressman Davis shares lessons learned, stories of perseverance, and practical advice for young leaders.
Lamonie and Sanaa also share their own experiences in 4-H, proving that leadership can start at any age.
The Best Better Podcast is a youth-led platform where Lenoir County youth come together to explore, engage, and elevate their voices.
