VEGETABLES, FRUITS, AND GREENS
From Porter Farms and TC Smith Produce
There will be corn (all three colors), shucked and unshucked, okra, string beans, and likely butter beans and field peas. Expect watermelons, cantaloupes, possibly some canary melons, plus the usual selection: squash, zucchini, onions, bell peppers, jalapeños, red potatoes, white potatoes, sweet pickling cucumbers, long green cucumbers, green tomatoes, Cherokee Purple tomatoes, and Romas.
A wide variety of jams, jellies, marinades, pickles, and relishes will also be available.
B & B EGGS & CRAFTS
Sandra will bring her usual delicious pasture-raised chicken eggs. She is in need of 12-count egg cartons — if you have any to recycle, she’d love to have them.
HART FARMS
Jennifer Hart has been busy — and hot — picking organically-raised blueberries. She’ll have them for sale on Saturday, along with her delicious blueberry honey.
ARTS AND CRAFTS
T & J Designs will return with lovely home décor, wreaths, and flags.
Sandra of B&B Eggs and Crafts has created charming decoupage jar vases.
Tranquility Candles will be back with handmade jewelry and wonderfully scented candles — just follow your nose!
Julie Babbin has been busy in the kitchen making pimento cheese and locally-sourced ice cream. Grab a container for Sunday lunch — maybe even top it with a slice of tomato!
Seraphim Smith will be at the market on Saturday with something delicious — but only he knows what it will be!
We’re also excited to welcome back Robin Stewart and Alison Merritt of Succulent Souls, offering beautiful planters and vases filled with unique and interesting succulents.
Karen Mulcahey of Above the Briery will return with her wonderful North Carolina native plants.
BAKED GOODS
Sandra (B&B Eggs and Crafts) will have her fabulous "Liquid Gold" banana nut bread — it’s SO good!
Seraphim Smith will also bring something homemade and special — exact details still under wraps.
GRANOLA
Katherine and Pat will be around with their delicious and nutritious all-natural granola, It’s Holy Granola!
Stop by to say hello and sample these special blends. The granola pairs perfectly with yogurt, ice cream, or all by itself. One customer even dips her banana in it — innovative and tasty!
They’ll also have a few jars of local honey and some ice-cold drinks available.
THE PORK SKIN MAN
Rodney, The Pork Skin Man, will have pork skins, pork rinds, fried peanuts, and funnel cakes. He’s open on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
