Friends of the Library Conduct Love Your Library! Raffle
The Kinston-Lenoir County Friends of the Library are conducting a Love Your Library! Fundraising raffle to support programming at the Kinston-Lenoir County, La Grange, and Pink Hill Public Libraries. For a donation of $50, all participants will be entered into a one-time virtual drawing for $1,000 to be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Assorted door prizes will also be awarded to participants.
The Kinston-Lenoir County Friends of the Library was founded in 1978 to promote and enhance library services. For over 45 years, the Friends have raised funds to support the Library’s mission of inspiring creativity, fostering learning, and engaging the community. With this assistance, the Library is able to offer culturally enriching presentations, informative lectures, and educational youth programming.
Each year, Friends of the Library funding allows thousands of children in Lenoir County to attend literacy-focused programs such as Baby and Me, Storytime, Countdown to Kindergarten, and Discovery Lab. Their participation results in greater levels of achievement at school and healthy habits that will stay with them to ensure long-term success.
Tickets are available through May 31 at any of the libraries listed above. Donations can be made by cash or check. Please make checks payable to the Kinston-Lenoir County Friends of the Library. The live drawing will be streamed on the Library’s Facebook page; you do not have to attend to win the drawing or door prizes. A check will be issued to the winner.
