Obituary: Judy Gail Haskins Adams
Judy Gail Haskins Adams, 74, of Trenton, NC, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. Judy will be remembered most for her deep devotion to her family and the simple joys that brought her happiness.
She cherished time spent with her loved ones and found comfort in everyday moments. One of her favorite pastimes was watching Cardinal baseball games with her family, whether cheering from her couch or sharing the experience with family. She also delighted in watching squirrels with her family in the backyard, finding joy and calm in observing nature’s small wonders.
Judy’s kindness, warmth, and loving spirit touched all who knew her. Being a teacher was one of the greatest gifts that Judy possessed. She adored her students and enjoyed pouring into everyone that she taught. From teaching to tutoring after school, Judy loved every minute that she had to help others better themselves. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Franklin Haskins and Margaret Shivar Haskins.
Judy is survived by her husband, Walter Lee Adams, Jr., and son, Walter Franklin Adams and several very special family members.
Visitation will be held from 1:00- 2:00 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home prior to the service.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Frank Emory officiating. Burial will follow immediately after service at Banks Family Cemetery in Comfort, NC.
